After working as an Art Director/Graphic Designer in the corporate design world for many years, Linda moved to Arizona in 2002 and completely switched gears. In 2003, she obtained her original yoga teaching certification, and started teaching immediately in various yoga studios, health clubs and resort spas. She continued her training and currently holds a RYT-500 hr. status from Yoga Alliance. Linda studied various disciplines of yoga, including ParaYoga, Anusara, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin and Yoga Nidra. Her teaching weaves together the principles of alignment, intelligent sequencing, awareness of breath, Ayurveda, and the richness of Tantric philosophy with thoughtful readings and themes, visual meditations and inspiring music. Yoga is all about awareness, and she encourages students to fully experience the benefits and transformation it will provide. As a result of her yoga training, she became fascinated with Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, especially it's nutrition component. Her interest in nutrition led her to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), to expand her knowledge and offerings. As a Certified Health Coach and founder of Garnet Leaf Yoga & Nutrition (), Linda is committed to learning how to live the best life possible... through yoga, nutrition and holistic health... in order to share that knowledge, awareness and passion with others.
